Esther Rensen
Esther Rensen is a Photographer and Digital Artist who recently took part in Toronto’s CONTACT Festival, with the first showing of her series, Once Upon A Place (featured here). This series was created as the culminating project of her award-winning efforts at Sheridan College, reflecting her surrealistic influences.
“Once Upon A Place” is an imaginative exploration of the connections between places, memories, and nature, this series invites us to look beyond the surface of forsaken, decaying spaces to discover an unusual world. You may find nature reclaiming an abandoned room, a tire swinging in an empty tower, a picnic waiting in the dining room…
